I have bought it to use on my hikes. After a long and steep hike, most likely wet, nothing tastes as good as a steaming hit cup of coffee. The thermos keeps the liquid pretty hot, even 4 hours later my coffee was as hot as when I poured it in. It has a good capacity and it doesn't leak. Plus the aluminium case is sturdy and does not infuse the liquid with any aftertaste like most plastic /silicone containers do. I am very happy so far.
