I bought this to replace my 4-year old bought in Japan “Handy Washlet” that reached the end of it’s lifespan (right in photo). It is tempting based a review comparing the two. But given the price point difference, it will not be fair.This new Portable Bidet works as it is suppose to. After putting in batteries, it failed to start up but after afew tries of pushing the Hi/Low Buttons, it spurted to life. Hmmm... not a promising start. Note - you cannot shake or hit it to get it started - bidet motor parts are very fragile and will be damaged immediately if dropped or vibrated (know from my long use of such gadgets).The main reason for my choosing this item was it’s price point and positive reviews. It comes with a spare Water Outlet Tip and a handy carry bag. Item was cradled in a plastic molded pack inside box for protection - that is good. No country of manufacture anywhere on the box, instruction slip or on the bidetFor now this will have to suffice. I will definitely buy one (or two) in Japan on my next trip - the Japanese ones are better quality (spray pressure, consistency of spray, add-on accssories etc)

This is awesome. I just wish it held a bit more water but still rates 5 stars ! I just have a second cup ready to be refilled. I am so very glad to discover this. What a huge help it is for me. It is virtually quiet too. I was worried about that but is not an issue : ) •••• update I thought this would help clean my excuse me(area) but it doesn't do it 100%. I've used it a few days and though it helps some of the time but not all of the time. It works great on wet but not so good on other situations(embarrassment). Sorry for this but had to downgrade to a 3 star from a 5 star : (

Works well for keeping you fresh and clean. No chemicals like wipes have...you are just using plain water. Small enough to fit in a larger size purse.

This bidet is awesome!! It cleans very well, is so easy to use. I would recommend this item to anyone who is sick of toilet paper usage.

Small enough to use anywhere, traveling or at home. Does a great job. Product is a good buy.

As an alternative to wiping and avoiding a red irritated bottom, I bought this product for daily use. I really loved how powerfully it sprayed, travel size, and the adjustable angle sprayer. For some reason, mine wouldn’t take rechargeable batteries. This product only lasted for 3 1/2 months of continuous use before it completely stopped working. Really sad it won’t turn on no matter the type of AAA batteries I put inside of it.

Works good. Wasn’t too sure about it since I’ve never used one. I’m having surgery soon & thought it might help with toilet duties.
