Great bag at a great price!
I got this bag for a Kilimanjaro hiking trip and I'm very happy with it. It is well built, has loads of capacity -- comfortably fits a sleeping bag and a weeks clothing and shoes -- and also looks very cool. The shoe compartment is a nice feature. I used it to store my dirty clothes, but on the trip out to Tanzania I stored my hiking boots in it with no problem. I was concerned that the zipper was not lockable, but can confirm that both the main compartment and shoe compartment have a double zip system that can be locked. The zips seals are also good quality and together with the storm flaps kept water out on the one day that it rained. The Kilimanjaro trip that I went on used porters to carry gear so fortunately I wasn't lumbered with carrying the bag all day, buy when I did carry it between airport and car, the backpack straps felt strong and comfortable. Amazingly, the ported carried the bag on his head, a technique that is apparently the standard approach in Tanzania. Having now got back to the States I can confirm that the bag is still in great condition. There are a few scuffs here and there but given the rough travelling and hiking expedition I have just put it through, I am very impressed. If you need an expedition style duffle and are looking for good value I recommend the TYTN.

Super Stiff but Waterproof 100%
Bought this for trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Worked well in holding a ton of clothes and the separate compartment for booths or wet clothes makes it a good reason to purchase. I was happy to have that section which i used to store my dirty clothes and it kept the stench out of the rest of the bag. Other folks on the trip had to store their dirty and clean clothes together so when they open their bags, they needed a mask to avoid the stench. The down side is being made of plastic it is very stiff and very difficult to zip/unzip. Also just after one trip its beginning to crack and peel at the black trims. Still recommend though as it is for rough and tough trips.

Good Bag but Zipper Liner Peels
I saw this on a travel blog as a great budget option for Kilimanjaro, so I bought it. By the time it went through baggage and up and down the mountain, it was scuffed and dirty, but it help up great! 90-L is the perfect size for all my gear, and I plan to continue using it for camping trips. The separate dirty shoes section is a great feature, as is the separate zippered net pouch (for toiletries and other small items). This bag was half the price of most of the other trekkers duffels.UPDATE: After using this bag for about two total weeks of camping, the zipper liner has peeled. Doesn’t bother me, but I assume water could get in there more easily now. My friend’s Patagonia duffel is not doing this.

Plan on using for a 2 week hike in Nepal
I plan on using this bag on the Everest base camp trek so I have begun to test it. There’s plenty enough room for clothes and a sleeping bag if you pack wisely and the separate pocket for dirty gear works well. The backpack straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. I would however be cautious using the single over the shoulder strap when the bag is fully loaded as it feels a little flimsy. The zippers are rugged and seal well in case it rains. Used it on some local flights to test it out and other than few scuffs it appears to be holding up real well. Can’t wait for the big test coming up!

Good quality waterproof bag
I’m very happy with my new TYTN bag. I plan on using it on a trip to Kilimanjaro. My big concern was whether it would keep my gear dry. So I filled it with towels and sprayed the hose on it to test it and it worked really well to this test.We got stuck in some quite heavy rain and it held up just fine. I was a little concerned about zippers, especially since other customers had mentioned a stiffness, but personally I found them fine. It also appears to be very durable and rugged, which I need. Overall I think it’s a quality bag at a great price!

Great duffel!
This is a great duffel. I bought this for a trek to Everest Base Camp and it was durable and waterproof. Would have given five stars if a bit less expensive though overall would definitely recommend a buy on this one.

Great bag!
This bag is very durable, suitable for rugged international travel IMO. Big zippers are easy to use. I like the internal separate compartments for keeping my dirty clothes away for the clean clothes. It also has 3 options for carrying, shoulder, backpack style and carry handles. I think for the price you get a great bag for rugged travel.

Durable
Stiff fabric and hard to zip However Sturdy straps durable for sure and would buy again but likely won’t need to since it overall is a long lasting product investment

Survived 2 months around South America!
The quality of the bag is fantastic, after surviving 8 weeks of various terrains, planes, trains and buses there have been no issues and all zips, handles are intact. The back-pack style straps are useful, if a little awkward to wear but hey, it's not designed to be a travelling backpack. There was huge amounts of space which is what I needed as had to pack coats and fleeces for cold conditions as wells as shorts, t-shirts, jeans for warmer climates.Overall, superb quality for the price - especially compared to North Face duffels I was contemplating - plenty of space and stands out nicely on the luggage conveyor at airports!

Weak and impractical shoulder straps
If i could rate this bag at 4.5 it will be the most accurate rating. The bag itself is really good. Well made and sturdy. It packs a lot of luggage and as was my case enough for two people. It even comes with 2 combination padlocks which is great for extra security. The two major drawbacks are the straps. The carabiners of the main shoulder strap are not strong enough to lift 20kg of luggage (2 people traveling remember). They just open up like a weak paperclip. Very dissapointing. The other 2 shoulder straps are a nightmare to remove. I sat on the tairport terminal for 20 minutes picking at them before i managed to remove them and check the bag for the fligh. So all in all a very good bag but be prepared to carry it by hand after luggage claim at the airport,.

A great piece of equipment.
Absolutely great bit of kit. Big enough to store my gear, light and durable. Full wet zip opening enough to prevent any difficulties in loading up.Well worth purchasing and a lot better value than other 'branded' items. I now have 2 and have no doubts I'd buy again if I need any more 'go bags'.

Did not survive it's second trip
Initially impression was this was a great bag but having used it on a second more rigorous trip involving loading and unloading from a boat i would change my mind. The anchor point for the shoulder strap has ripped out of the bag leaving a 1.5 cm hole in the bag. Other small holes have also appeared. it is no useless being no longer water proof (big holes do that) and only carriable with the hand straps and it is anyone's guess how long before they tear off. Have now invested in a more expensive the North Face bags and although 20 quid more it seems a lot more rugged

Excellent value for money
A really sturdy and durable bag that can also be carried as a back pack. It also came with 2 locks and elasticated rain-cover, that can be put on when you carry it as a backpack, though the bag already appears to be completely waterproof already.
