They work very well for this purpose. I also use them for T-track on table saw and band saw jigs when needed. They are a very very good fit for a 3/4 miter slot and a 3/4 routed dado as well. No issues at all with these. This track for sure accept 1/4 hex bolts in the T track side. All depends how big are the solar panels. The matter here is when you are on the road.You dont want those solar panels being taken off the roof by the wind. **Q: What are the exact dimensions? The diagram is incorrect including the metric conversions.
