Theoretically the circumference of the motor shaft and the inner diameter of the tubing could be used to calculate the volume (drops) per rotation as the rollers travel 1 motor shaft circumference along the tube per RPM. I'm hoping to find a brushless motor or motor gearbox combo that is about the same RPM. I don't like brushed motors. **Q: Is this rated for continuous duty? Reviews say no?** A: Not suitable for continuous duty, it is recommended to use it for less than 15 minutes at a time **Q: Which power supply do I buy to power this unit? I know it's 12v duh!** A: I use it on my boat hooked to the 12v battery system. If I were using it at home, I would use a 110v to 12v "brick" from some old gizmo. I've been using them for several months now, and all are still working perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works very well hoses last about a month *by P***1 on May 17, 2026* After having the unit for 6 months it has needed a few hose replacements and the shaft needed to be roughened to function again due to the hoses being a different durameter than the original it still works on a 3 hour cycle. The noise has changed pitch and is quite loud. The hoses last a month or so even with some dry running, if it was wet all the time it might have lasted longer, but for my use it does run dry from time to time. Changing hoses is quite easy and the pump flow rate is adequate for my purposes. I wish the mechanism was a little more robust so the shaft didnt need to be roughed, but I exepct this to last about a year before it no longer functions and needs to be replaced.
