A: It's just ground up limestone.

**Q: Will this dissolve in water or will it settle out?**
A: its 1 of my ingredients in my diy toothpaste...I've never put it in water...but I would imagine that it would dissolve unless you use a lot of it...I would mix it for a minute in too!
