After a recent vacation on the GoldWing to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we realized Honda changed the seat design on the 2023 model. It is hard as concrete! By the time we rode 3,800 miles and returned to our home in Alabama, my left hip was killing me! I could only stand up on it for a few minutes at a time before it was so painful, I had to find a chair and sit down. After a visit to my orthopedic doctor, I was happy to learn my hip is strong except for my age (71) and the usual arthritis, bursitis, and tendonitis. I found this gel cushion online and thought it might be worth a try. I’m very happy to say that it makes riding much more comfortable for me. We probably won’t take another long trip until next spring, but I’m looking forward to having this cushion on all future rides. The attached straps enable me to connect it to the grabs bars on the bike. This makes the cushion sit flat, nice and secure, with no fear of it flying off into the wind, never to be seen again. I would recommend this cushion for anyone needing some extra padding on their motorcycle seat. Very comfortable. Our seat takes an XL but many bikes, actually all other bikes, would probably take a large.
