Apply to the hair with a small flat brush also available on Amazon. It may takes minutes to turn blonde. I rub it thoroughly into my scalp with my hands and rub. Wait the required time. It will begin to give you the blonde and it tends to stick only to the hairs and not your skin. Floor cleanup is easier. For blonde wait 45 minutes and for ultra cool black only 30 minutes.
