There is a small antenna supplied with it, suitable for vhf. For shortwave reception there is a second aerial socket to which a telescopic antenna could be fitted. It is an sma socket and an adaptor would be required if your second antenna has a different connector. The Radtel RT-880G Tested and tried on power meter on 2m 9.6w 70cms around 8.9w And yes it does transmits on 27mhz outputing around 6w.once radio is unlocked,but be WARNED it's A very dirty transmission! harmonics are something to questioned about.The HF receive is good once you get a nice antenna attached,the stock antenna only works for 2m/70cms.
