I wanted a bag that was JUST big enough to hold my iPad Pro 9.7" in its flip folio case, with enough clearance to put it in and take it out easily, along with a few bare necessities—phone, wallet, keys, Metrocard—but as small and purse-like as possible, not screaming "expensive tech inside!" Well, this bag is that. It's nylon so it's water-resistant, although the zipper has a little gap on one side that I'd want to cover up in a downpour.Edit: Forgot to mention how crazy lightweight this bag is! It feels like my iPad honestly loses weight when I put it inside. Also there's a bit of padding on the bottom, which is nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good features (described) *by C***F on April 4, 2018* Carry bags or purses are quite individual preference dependent, but I love everything about this bag with two minor exceptions. Good pockets and placement of them. Front flap holds my smartphone (6x3 size which is in a wallet-type case) plus other instant-need things - Kleenex pack fits perfectly in a pocket and smalls (e.g., lipgloss, breath spray or whatever) have another pocket, neither of which retards your quick reach of the phone. That outside pocket has a magnetic closure button. The main compartment holds bigger stuff like a Kindle, wallet, papers (not 8x10 unfolded, but close). And the back has a flat zipper compartment also easy to reach. I like the wide straps but not how slippery they are. That could be replaced, however. Hardware appears solid and handle hardware swivels so you're not constantly dealing with twisted strap. Adjustable from normal-to-shortish shoulder strap length all the way to very long for cross-body wearing. Not a fan of the mottled coloring because it almost looks like a rain-stained fabric with uneven drying, but it's obvious that's the pattern and it's subtle. The green is passably ruck-sack, almost military shade so it goes with anything but in direct sunlight it borders on a tad bright. Bag itself is very lightweight which I appreciate a lot. Haven't tested it out in rain but it's shiny enough to shed water drops, no clue in a down-drench but it would probably resist penetration. Definitely worth the price in terms of quality.
