I'm a guy in my late 40s who's developed a taste for triathlon in recent years, and my PT advised me that this would help aid recovery from training sets, especially as I'm now training 6 days a week.Despite some initial scepticism after a month of trying zinc here's what I've noticed.1. Improved recovery from colds etc. It's that time of year and a sore throat or head cold can take you out for a few days. What I've noticed on a couple of occasions is that although I have felt a sniffle coming on, it's never developed into anything major and usual goes within a day or so. So the immune boost claim seems to be working for me.2. Improved training recovery time. This one is difficult to quantify but generally I'm feeling less sore faster and also I feel general less tired or leggy when hitting sessions closer to my rest day. Typically I would have struggled at this time of the weekly cycle.So overall really pleased and will continue to take these as part of the regime. I like this brand too. The product is sourced well which is important to me. It's also vegan friendly...this isn't important to me but it might be to you!
