I am a salt water angler off the Texas coast and this reel has been put to the test with several other competitors from the usual three on amazon up to a couple $200+ reels and this is what I have found: compared to the advanced drag and mag systems it has about 85-90 % casting distance (less than 1/2 ounce total weight ) other than that factor it has outlasted the big brands and has handled the bigger fish with the same action of the big brand names. great drag system, very durable bearings, and excellent spool tracking! mix all those things with a year of salt water and I could not have been happier with my 34 dollar purchase, its been almost a year and the reel sits on a $259 rod as my first string QB! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good reel for sure! *by B***X on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2021* I have been fishing many years and have used several brands of reels.
