Definitely not overly glossy. **Q: Does it come in silver?** A: Not silver, it is white paint outside. **Q: Greetings. Is it possible to purchase the large square (10 inches) separately?** A: No, one color for 8 inches and 10 inches should be bought together, thank you. **Q: How do these mount to the wall? Are there key hole cut-outs in the back to slide nails into?** A: yes they are (comes with screws and anchors). However I would exchange the anchors you receive. They are not white and on one of the ones I put up I was not 100% to the millimeter correct on my measurement and now you see from the side a little bit of the dark anchor they supply on the side between the light color wall and the white frame. Also, if you buy more than one set, do not assume the wholes are always at the same place. I bought 3 sets (green, orange and blue) to make a combination of different colors on the wall in our daughter's bed room. neither on the 3 big ones nor on the 3 small ones the wholes were at the same place, which made it a lot more difficult to make a symmetric pattern on the wall.
