I had been in the market for a 4x4 and wanted to get the best of the best. When I saw this snorkel I knew that if it cost this much then the XJ had to be the best. I found myself an XJ off a guy in Michigan for $8500 that had some sort of custom work done to reduce weight in the frame (think he called it an iron oxide treatment) you wouldn't believe the flex this gives. Plus he has already removed the fenders so that he could install a snorkel... It was like a sign, how much more convenient can it get???? So now with the custom built XJ and the addition of my $11k+ snorkel I feel like I can snub my nose to those Hummer guys. Next up I'm gonna swap out all my fluids to full synthetic, you know how hard it is to find synthetic blinker fluid? Got a guy to hook me up for $75 a gallon, what a nice guy! If you want the best then I urge you to go ahead and buy this snorkel!!! Only giving 4 stars because the kit does not include the needed zip ties or roll of duct tape ### ⭐⭐⭐ Could be worse *by X***4 on Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2014* I saw this snorkel and instantly knew I had to have it. Sure it's 11K and 3 times the cost of my XJ, but I figured I deserved to treat myself with the holidays coming up. I tried applying for a loan for it, but my bank turned me down. No problem. I asked my family if they would be willing to help, but all they did was laugh at me.The nerve!So I ended up selling one of my kidneys to a drug dealer I see around town. After I awoke in a bathtub full of ice, I knew that finally I could afford the NEKOR Snorkel for my XJ. It looks pretty great, but now I have to pay more to have a security guard make sure no one messes with it. So because of that, I took off two stars.
