I had to cut off the connector and then had to trace the ends by conductivity to make sure I put them in the right order. The ends of the cable were a bit fiddly so we tinned them to make sure there were no loose filaments. Each connection had a small loop to allow us to use tools to hold it in place so the tiny screws could secure the ends. Once complete, the cover went on easily and it is working correctly. I may need to buy another one for the other end, but this one is working great. Review: Worked flawlessly!! - My CRT monitors cable had a issue and it was non removable. I tried to replace it with a new cable and splice it together. Because the wiring for VGA cables and monitors is not standarized matching colors is almost pointless. This solderless replacement end saved me so much time and effort. I still had to open the CRT to finally figure out what wire was going to what, thankfully it was printed on the circuit board.
