It's also 12.5" long, which is very effective at cleaning tall containers like a vase or hummingbird feeder with old residue stuck on the bottom. Just swish some hot water and dish washing liquid in any container and use this brush - it will clean up perfectly. **Q: Is the rod flexible to make it able to follow curved bottles?** A: Rod is not at all flexible but it is narrow.
