Previously I had a sleep shade with Velcro, and truthfully it got caught uncomfortably in my long hair sometimes. It didn’t stay in place.I find with the AMTOOCH sleep mask it closed very differently and smoothly So much better. Their product is day and night different all around. It IS a customized contoured dream ... it truly does wonderfully fit the face and contours to it just as they say ... the nose alar Upgrade is WELL done and Worth it! the eye contouring is awesome too. Most of all ...IT does what they SAY . .. so comfortablely made and Stays in place. All this said ... it’s really everything they say ... and I am really getting a truly Restful Sleep. Does a good job at comfortably blocking out light. It doesn't press down on your eyes and with the contour, you can even blink underneath it. You do have to adjust it to make it fit right, but that is easy to do as it has an adjustable strap. I had another eye cover and it was wearing out.PROS: It does provide great darkening capabilities.It was really dark when I put these on.It has a nice little protective bag/carrying caseThe band doesn’t get tangled in your hair.CONS:Although it was nice and dark, I am unfortunately one of the ones where light leaked in around my nose. I tried moving it and messing with the tightness of the band, but inevitably it always let light in eventually. Frustrating!The band was very uncomfortable for me. There is a little clip, kind of like the ones on a bra to loosen the band. Unfortunately, with my desired tightness, that clip landed right near my ear and on the side of my head. It was uncomfortable to sleep on my left side (my preferred sleeping position) as it dug into my head. I tried placing the band in different ways, but it always bothered me and was honestly a bit painful.No matter what I did with the band tightness and adjustment, they always let in light at some point or slipped way up by morning.If I had to do it over, I would not have bought theses.
