You cannot fit a lot of stuff in this pack or larger cell phones with cases on them. The belt strap fits through pant beltloops but I think it's small. I wear a 14/16 in pants and it barely fit me. I wore it higher up on my waist so I was good, but if you have larger than a 36in waist, it probably won't fit. It does come with a long shoulder strap chain which is gold.
