Men's Wood Shoe Stretcher

When the box arrived it was torn about 6" and taped back together. I carefully opened the box and viewed the contents containing the shoe stretcher. The shoe stretcher was broken and a knob was missing along with the part that the knob screws on. There was a splinter on the right side of the stretcher which would do damage to a shoe if inserted. I did not use the shoe stretcher. I called Heartland America and spoke with two people. The first would not or could not help me. The second, called herself Jenifer, and she said she would help me. She proceeded to ask questions to which I gave the aforementioned information. She then told me she would send me a shipping label by mail which would be at their expense. That was on March 6, 2014 and the date of this writing is March 17, 2014. To date the shipping label has not arrived. I want this matter resolved immediately.

I would give these a negative star if I could. To call them cheap is an insult to the word cheap ! I read all the other reviews about how cheap they were, but I was desperate. I would have rather not wasted the money on these, but for the price and my desperation it wasn't to bad a lick. DON'T BUY !! can't think of on good thing to say about. the fact that they have a made in CHINA sticker on them says it all !!

Great product, was trying not to spend a lot but also get something that would work. My dad had these growing up & when my husband wanted a set for his shoes was on a mission to find some. Not much choice in our area so went to Amazon to find a pair.Great price, exactly as pictured was a little slow in delivery as promised.

Looked like good quality on the website. It broke the first time that I used it, and I have used stretchers for many years, so the stupidity factor can be ruled out. To make matters worse, I made the mistake of using my home address as the shipping address and now I am being flooded with junk mail from the mailing lists that this company put me on. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!

It takes a little thought to' figure out HOW to stretch shoes but these worked fine. The problem is not the device, it's the need to moisten the shoes first. No instruction ! That would have helped !

They arrived with one knob broken, called to return and the print return mail label they emailed didn't work so I decided to repair and keep them. I tryed to apply to the shoes and both unit suffered differnt part failures. Neither unit ever even got tight, just fell apart. Worse product quality of anything I can remeber ever buying, even from China.

One of the shoe stretchers broke on the first try… the other is only a little better… I bought these shoe stretchers because the shoes I bought from you were supposed to be American size 13s… they were a Chinese equivalent which is actually smaller than an American 13. All in all, I doubt seriously that I will purchase anything further from Amazon… particularly any item of clothing.

The shoe stretcher was purchased to stretch shoes and, as long as you wet the shoe first, it will work. Not very sturdy.
