Was aware it was designed for both bath and shower (has a cut out bit for drain which is fine if it is for a bath - if for a walk in shower where drain outlet is in a different place (in my case it was outer central) it did just fit with out me having to alter the mat.Positives: Suction good; once you get mat free from creases resulting from how it was packaged); easy on the feet and gives confidence that it is non slip and good foot grip; comfortable underfoot.Not so positives: Does drain well but leaves suction marks, albeit easily cleaned suggest should not have to do this on a daily basis (perhaps with more use this problem may go).
