Good fit and finish *by Z***Z on January 1, 2019* Nice fit and finish . Nice easy neck. The pickups are fine, no noise, front is ballsy, rear is weak as usual. Together they are ok. The set up out of the box was good but could be a bit lower. I adjusted the neck to straighten it a bit when I put on some Diadarrio flatwounds and lowered the action a bit. FYI Diaddario short scale chrome flat wounds fit perfect. I was told they were going to be too short but no, they fit perfect. 4 stars for now, maybe more maybe less over a little time. Overall feels, looks and sounds good. The picture shows how the new strings fit right. Update. I swapped put the generic .047 green "chicklet" capacitor for an orange Sprague .068 capacitor that I bought from Axeginderz . I had done this previously with a fender p bass and bronco bass that i used to have. Some might not notice a difference but I hear a smoother vintage like tone with the tone knob all the way off. And also with the tone on it just seems to help give less expensive pickups a smoother tone. I prefer this bass using the front pickup only and the tone all the way off, vintagey. Sometimes both pickups.
