Verde Farms Organic 100% Grass-Fed Ground Beef 93/7, 1 lb

I used this to make a delicious meatloaf. You could taste the quality in every bite. I like that it declares that it is 100% grass fed beef, since that ensures the quality. Others may feed some grass and still label it as "grass fed".

I have been purchasing and cooking with this beef for about a year now and I haven’t had any issues with it, despite some bad reviews I’ve seen. It’s always been fresh and yummy, no issues. I use it for pasta and meat sauce, tacos, and burgers. I’ve gotten compliments on it and the quality of meat can be noticed. This is my go to brand to purchase from.

Verde Farms has outstanding beef quality, from the taste to the sustainable cattle raising practices!It's expensive, but once I tried organic 100% grass-fed beef I cannot go back to conventional beef. The flavor is amazing, once cooked even the 93% ground beef is juicy and melts in the mouth. I enjoy it simply as burger, and in many recipes like chili and stew, in enchiladas or with tacos, in casseroles and lasagnas.The only odd part is that the packaging has a very plastic smell on the outside; but this doesn't affect the quality or taste of the meat.

Received this as part of an Amazon Fresh order.I was nervous about ordering ground beef online, especially after reading the low-star reviews for this product, but decided to take a chance.I am not very familiar with grass-fed beef. I'd first purchased some a couple of years ago at a local S****ts market. I was expecting it to be delicious...instead, I was disappointed. Perhaps it's because I grew up eating beef from corn-fattened cattle, and the corn (and other grains) in their diet affects the flavor of their meat. In any case, I can neither say I am a fan (taste-wise) nor an expert on grass-fed beef. That being said, when I opened the package I found perfectly acceptable-looking ground beef (see photos). It wasn't spoiled, it didn't smell bad. After removing the packaging I cut the slab in half to check that the hidden interior wasn't discolored; it was not.I made burgers from this meat. I didn't much care for the flavor; it wasn't bad, it just didn't taste like the hamburger meat I am accustomed to. However, the last burger I ate from the batch (a week or so after it had originally been cooked), after reheating it, tasted much better. So perhaps I just need to cook grass-fed beef burgers very-well-done for them to be to my liking. In any case, the one experience I've had thus far with this brand of grass-fed beef was acceptable-to-positive.

Great Product - Great Value

The red liquid you see inside the package is not blood, its myoglobin and its very normal. The meat has great texture and nice amount of natural flavor, with some seasoning it tastes great.
