It does alright. You have to do some adjusting on the spray. Am very happy with this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ First time using a paint sprayer - worked ok - I need practice *by J***B on October 26, 2020* Product is not supposed to be used with latex paint, but based on other reviews, I decided to give it a try for this price. I did thin my paint with both water and Flood Floetrol Additive, as well as strain the paint, just to be sure. The instructions are clearly translated from another language and are hard to understand - this is my only issue with the product itself. As a paint sprayer newbie, it took me some time to figure out where the different nozzles attach and how the adjustments work - the instructions really only helped a little bit. My paint thickness worked just fine and I did experiment with the spray direction (horizontal or vertical) as well as the adjustment knob. Some parts of the wall turned out great, but the parts where I over applied were a hot mess. The thinned paint is super drippy and when it started to run, I went in with my brush or roller, but it dripped everywhere - TOTALLY my fault. I need to work on my spray technique. I also was worried about using latex paint which is thicker and so used the nozzle with the larger opening and opened the adjustment knob all the way - I think I need make changes to allow for more air in the paint - a finer spray would have made it harder for me to overapply. Also - my laundry room has a narrow hallway section - making it hard to step back and apply from a distance - this also contributed to areas where the paint was over-applied and drippy. As with all spray paint, light coats are better - might take a few tries to get the hang of it, but it is easy to use and I can see that it will work great when I use it to refinish a fiberglass tub. The latex paint seems to be no issue for the sprayer. And clean up was no harder then a regular brush or roller.
