The photos are beautiful and that is enough to make this book enjoyable. However, I think the real value of this book is that it helps the collector develop a critical eye for beauty. The joy of watch collecting is in the subtle differences between different watches. This is a great book for helping a budding collector refine their understanding of what is beautiful and therefore desirable. Highly recommended!

If you want to know about high end mechanical watches and be up and ready to talk with a snobbish well educated horologist....then get this book and start reading it. Nice picture, but great info on these very expensive watches with lots of little facts. Good book if your hobby is time pieces.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better on the Kindle

This is a low verbal content, high photo dependent book. I have both a kindle and paperback copy. The books is quite small, the photos are high quality (paperback) but difficult to see detail due to small size. Using the Kindle app on an Ipad is awsome. The watches are works of art.
