First I didn't particularly like this gown because of the collar. It rides up on your neck and balls up against the pillow. Very annoying! But it is very pretty and looks good, so I kept it as a backup. When I picked up my nightgowns from the cleaners, I had an ugly surprise: This one was torn to shreds in the front!! The owner of the laundry, whom I have done business with for years, explained and showed me the problem. The ripped panel was of a completely different quality and thread count than the rest of the gown!! It might have been a mistake, or a deliberate attempt by the manufacturer to save some money, by introducing flimsy fabric here and there into a garment. Since my time for a return had expired, Amazon would do nothing about this matter at first, but since I would not let the matter rest, they finally, begrudgingly, offered me a $ 5.00 credit to my account and the phone number of the manufacturer.I own every one of the Victorian gowns in this line and regularly take them to the laundry, since it would take me hours to wash, starch and iron them to perfection, and I haven't had any problems with those yet. Had I known in advance that I was being defrauded in a rather sneaky way, I would never have bought another nightgown from this designer. I certainly will NOT in the future. I also feel that Amazon shouldn't have brushed me off, but investigated the issue further. As the distributor of these nightgowns, their good name is on the line, too. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Odd fit in bust and arms *by I***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2017* I bought another one of the 1 for U. Absolutely love the styling and the quality BUT it is tight under the arms. On this one I bought a size larger thinking that may be the issue. It fit under the arms this time but it was enormous everywhere else. I'm big busted (D) but while the bust fits the arm holes are high and tight. It's really annoying because otherwise this would be the most perfect nightgown ever. Since this is the 2nd one that appears to have high armholes I sadly won't be buying anymore. Nightgowns should be somewhat relaxed, perhaps these are intended for big busted small shouldered people? I think it's a mis-design that they perhaps are unaware of? ### ⭐ PIPING DOESN’T LINE UP *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019* Maybe I’m too picky, but I didn’t like the way the piping lined up in front. I thought the sleeves should be longer & at 5”6 I can NEVER find a gown that goes past my ankles. ALWAYS a tad too short & this gown is the same. As for the buttons, they ARE NOT covered. They’re little flower plastic buttons.
