It works fast I know for a fact. Even though I think vinegar works on cleaning pipes, I don’t think it would work this fast. In Florida where I am, it builds up within months using my AC most of the year and the high humidity but this really works! **Q: My ac guy suggested i use this once a month. can it be used that often?** A: The manufacturer’s recommendation on the Amazon website says it can be used every 3-6 months. I use every 3 months which is what my AC person said. Maybe during the summer months of heavy AC usage, that makes sense. **Q: Can I pour this into the float switch? Or directly into the pan?** A: I pour one bottle directly into the pan once a month. **Q: Directions say pour directly in drain line, drain pan etc. after 20 minutes restart unit. Should I follow with cold water flush or just leave alone?** A: 1- turn off a/c 2- after 20 minutes pour in Nu line. I use a funnel 3- after 20 minutes turn on a/c 4- next day pour in 8 oz white distilled vinegar No need to turn off a/c. I do this once a month.
