I have an older LED headlamp that is OK, but nothing special. The old one had two brightness levels, and was AAA powered. What I like about this one is the huge battery pack lasts forever, and the variety of lighting options. I've attached a video review that I did when I first got it, but as I have continued to use it I like it more and more. My favorite mode is the more diffuse LED which I have been using now that time has changed and my timed lights go out while I'm finishing up some reading. It's easier on the eyes and does not cast really harsh shadows.The biggest negative is that I have the headband at the minimum size, so this might not work for kids or those with smaller heads. ### ⭐⭐⭐ ROLL OF THE DICE *by F***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019* THE VARIED LIGHT SETTINGS ON THIS SET ARE GREAT! THE HEADSET IS COMFORTABLE FOR LONG USE. CON: I'VE HAD THIS SET FOR TWO MONTHS AND THE PLASTIC ON THE BATTERY BOX BROKE WHERE THE STRAP WAS HELD. AS A FORMER BOSS AT A PLASTIC EXTRUSION PLANT I CAN TELL YOU THIS COMES FROM OVER RECYCLING OR NOT ADDING ENOUGH NEW PLASTIC TO THE OLD, THE HEATING AND COOLING OF THE PLASTIC MAKE IT BRITTLE. THE STRAP CAN BE REATTACHED AFTER SOME SURGERY AND STITCHES, BUT IT WAS JUST A SHAME IT BROKE. I TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE LIGHT TO KEEP IT FROM "HARM" AND GETTING SCRATCHED. A wonderful customer service representative named Kary reached out and immediately sent a replacement and continued to follow up to ensure that I was satisfied with the LED Headlamp. I'm happy to say that the headlamp exceeded my expectations. I ride a motorcycle and take great caution regarding my safety. Utilizing velcro, I've mounted the headlamp atop my helmet. When riding during the day I use the strobe-light feature to alert drivers of my presence on the road. At night, this headlamp is a great compliment to the head light on my cycle. The intensity of the lights are brilliant. Just last weekend I was riding home from work and encountered a DUI check point. The officers were stopping each vehicle and we were required to produce license, registration, etc. The officers were greatly impressed with quality of the product and remarked that more cyclists should use such devices to enhance road safety.
