Water cleaning is possible** A: They are very thin. Got them for our rec room, as the original carpet tiles we have now are discontinued. They were about 1/2 the thickness of the ones I have, so I had to send these back. I would think spot cleaning might be ok, but they might be too thin for a regular cleaning. **Q: would these stick to metal** A: I would think so as long as the metal is clean. **Q: Can i use these on my porch?** A: Yes **Q: Could I stick these to a surface and use them to store items with velcro?** A: Absolutely, I lined the inside of my gun safe doors with this stuff and have 150+ velcro patches displayed all over it.
