I purchased the vest hoping it would would assist me in improving my posture and relieve some back pain so that I could hopefully become more physically active over time and get the excess weight off around my midsection. I am absolutely thrilled with this product! It absolutely has helped me re-train my core abdominal and back muscles immediately upon use, so I can feel more secure while exercising. I found the waist trainer worked so well while exercising that I also began using it while working at my computer. I work remotely from home doing all my research work sitting, hunched over a computer all day long. This waist trainer has absolutely improved my sitting posture and reminds me to keep my shoulder's back and use my abdominal muscles to sit up straight and not slouch over the computer while working. Fix the sizing chart listed on your desertcart product page. I am 5'3" tall, weigh 168 lbs, and have a 37" waist (as I measured 1" above my navel as directed).
