The machine sits sturdy on the kitchen platform when in use; hardly any vibration is felt. The blade is of excellent quality and the plastic cover makes it very convenient to fix and remove the blade. When scraping you just need to hold the coconut firmly so that the coconut doesn't fly off and you don't get hurt with the blade. There is no need for pressing coconut too much against the blade. Just rotate the coconut to get even scraping on all side and the bottom. Since it turns on and off via a self releasing button on top, it's easy to stop and start as you scrape. The end result is finely scraped coconut. It's been only a week of usage and I have scraped some 5 coconuts already. It's been so easy. I just love it.
