The "Crazy Horse" name sounds like premium leather, and while it's not - it's PU leather that's styled to mimic that distressed vintage look - it actually pulls it off pretty well visually. It also means it's vegan-friendly and significantly more affordable than real leather, so no complaints there. I went with the larger 36"x17" size, and it's been worth every inch. My full-size keyboards fit comfortably with plenty of mousing room to spare, and the surface tracks my wireless mice really smoothly - no jitter, drag, or skipping that I've experienced on other desk mats.
