It really blocks out the sun which is why we bought it. We have a deco glass window in our bathroom that acts as a magnifying glass and radiates the sun. It has been a night and day difference in the amount of heat that it is blocked since installing it. I would give it a perfect five stars except for two things. the directions are the greatest but I'm pretty handy so I figured it out on my own without directions. But the first two screws I tried to use stripped out. They provide some very cheap screws. Luckily I keep drywall and wood screws in stock in my garage and use those to install it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really Like the Quality *by H***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2020* They're well-made and work exactly as described. They block out light when they're closed but aren't 100% black-out. The color blends well with light and dark wood furniture. They're really pretty and look like they cost much more. I ended up not keeping these, but that doesn't mean I won't try them again later.
