Review: really happy with it. - as a lifter in his mid 40s who works out in his home gym i'm more concerned about my core bracing and protecting my back when i do my compound lifts than looking cool so i tend to have my belt on for most of my workout as i like the constant feedback it gives on how well i'm engaging when i set up for my movements. this is a great quality cowhide belt with a good true to size fit, the double prongas give a firm and solid closure that holds well and doesn't loosen and can't be accidentally knocked undone like some lever belts. the width gives a nice broad surface to brace against and the padding on the back makes it comfortable even when worn tightly. for £24 it's well made and in my opinion a very good value belt. i use it every workout.

After training with these, I realise how much they help brace my core when I'm lifting heavy weights. My current waist is about 33 inches, and this M-size belt fits me perfectly. I do make sure to get this as tight as possible, and it doesn't feel effective when it's not. There is a downside: taking it out after putting it on tightly is a struggle. I've seen other belts use a sort of clamp, and I think those are easier to remove. The back of the belt is padded, so it does feel comfortable on my waist even when it's tight. I will continue to use this as it has been showing good results in my lifts, but there is still room for improvement.
