Review: Bearing With Me - I ordered these with an eye to an old garden trolley I've got which needs a bit of restoration. Thinking that they might prove useful for the front steering wheels and/or yoke. I've not fitted them yet as, like most of my projects, it's mostly in my head at the moment. So this is based on initial inspection. These are a useful size for using as wheel bearings on smallish items like wheelbarrows, garden trolleys etc. They appear well put together with smooth fnish and all 10 were smooth in rotation and silent in operation. They just came loose in a cardboard box with no oil coating to prevent corrosion. So, although mine were all fine, that could be improved. Obviously, as with all bearings, their utility depends on how well they perform long-terrm which, in itself, can also be dependent on how they are used, as much as how well they are constructed. But for the price; less than 90p a pop at time of ordering, I think they look like a pretty decent purchase, for any project which is not too demanding or safety critical.

I 10 cuscinetti ricevuti sono in acciaio e a gola profonda, le loro dimensioni sono di 20x42x12mm. I cuscinetti presentano una lubrificazione per interna e soprattutto una copertura in gomma da entrambi i lati delle sfere, il che oltre a mantenere la lubrificazione interna evitano l'ingresso di polvere ed acqua. Le dimensioni a quanto pare sono standard e sono molto versatili non solo in ambito meccanico ma anche per la riparazione di piccoli elettrodomestici, tapparelle,ecc.. Prodotto che si sta rilevando davvero utili, anche perché proprio ultimamente ne ho utilizzato un'altro per sostituirlo a quello di un trita mozzarella ormai con i cuscinetti consumati.

Los pillé para un proyecto de impresora 3D que estoy montando y necesitaba rodamientos de este tamaño específico. Las medidas son exactas: 20mm de diámetro interior, 42mm de exterior y 12mm de grosor. Los he medido con un calibre para asegurarme antes de diseñar las piezas y coinciden perfectamente con lo anunciado. Esto es fundamental porque si no encajan bien en tus diseños todo se va al traste. Vienen bien lubricados de fábrica. Al girarlos con los dedos se nota que van suaves, sin puntos duros ni atascos. La grasa está distribuida de forma uniforme, no están chorreando ni tampoco secos. El doble sellado funciona bien. Las tapas metálicas mantienen el lubricante dentro y evitan que entre porquería del exterior. Son extraíbles por si en algún momento necesitas limpiarlos o añadir más grasa, aunque de momento no me ha hecho falta. La calidad de construcción parece correcta. El anillo exterior es sólido y los he sometido a algo de carga en el proyecto y aguantan sin problemas. No hacen ruidos raros al girar, señal de que están bien calibrados. El pack trae 10 unidades, que para proyectos de bricolaje viene genial porque siempre tienes de sobra y no te quedas corto a mitad de montaje. También está bien tener extras por si alguno se daña o para futuros proyectos. Los he usado en la impresora 3D y funcionan sin problemas. El movimiento es fluido y no introducen vibraciones raras que puedan afectar a la calidad de impresión. Como contra, no vienen en compartimentos separados. Llegan todos juntos en una bolsa, así que cuando abres el paquete tienes que ir contándolos y organizándolos tú. No es grave pero si vinieran en una cajita con separadores sería más cómodo. También, al ser rodamientos más grandes que los típicos 608, ocupan más espacio y pesan más, ten eso en cuenta si tu proyecto necesita rodamientos ligeros.
