This one has quickly become something I keep on my nails almost all the time. What I really love is that Melody Susie made this functional and beautiful. In one step, this works as a nail strengthener, ridge filler, base coat, and a wearable polish if you want to leave it on its own. I picked up two shades, a translucent red and a holographic finish, and both build beautifully. The translucent red is especially fun. One coat leans more hot pink, but as you add a layer every day, it slowly builds into a jelly red. By around day seven, I like to remove it and start fresh, but taking it off does not undo the strengthening. My nails still feel sturdier underneath, so it feels more like refreshing the treatment rather than starting over. The formula dries very quickly, which I love. There is a noticeable scent while applying, a bit stronger than I would prefer, but once it dries, the smell is gone completely. I only have to tolerate it for a moment. After wearing this for a couple of days, my nails feel noticeably stronger. I can press on the tips without them bending, which they definitely did before applying this. At the same time, they do not feel overly hard or brittle, which I really appreciate. Some nail proteins make my nails so rigid that they crack if I bump them, and this feels much more balanced. The bottles are a generous 15 ml, easy to hold, and the brush works well with plenty of bristles. I do wish the brush was rounded, but it still applies evenly without any issues. The shades layer nicely, and even the holographic version builds to a more opaque look after a few coats. It looks different in different lighting, which I love. This works beautifully as a smoothing base if you want to apply another polish on top, or on its own as a clean, polished nail look that also hides ridges and imperfections. Ingredients like squalene, niacinamide, and wheat germ oil help keep nails hydrated while supporting strength and healthier looking growth. I absolutely love Melody Susie products, and these are very fairly priced at around $8. If your nails are weak, bendy, or recovering from gel or acrylics, I highly recommend adding a nail strengthener like this into your routine.
