The science of water and the cycle from the vantage point of the film- from ocean, through all four phases to snow, and some of the things Shin and Travis were saying about the cycle really fascinated my science-loving grom. I don't even know how many times she's watched it already! The cinematography was beautiful! And as always, we love watching the bond between all the riders Travis gets together for his films. It's completely different than the Art of Flight which I also loved but for other reasons. In this film, Travis Rice and his incredible snowboarding friends take on some of the most difficult weather conditions and on some days the mountains won and other days they did. The thing that struck me the most is Travis Rice's quest for self-actualization. It's incredible! He has this amazing sense of drive and determination to do new and otherwise impossible things- its beautiful. I'm not a snowboarder, never have been but this movie is about more than that- its about chasing your dreams and not being afraid to fail. I recommend this film to everyone. PS.
