LED is a little bright but it works
I've always wanted one of these but never got one. I didn't really get this because of the reviews but becasue it is cheap. I opened it up and it looks like if the button wears out it can't be replaced. Not because it needs soldered but because it is a normal button with a really long(tall?) stud. So when it wears out something would need to be 3D printed or something along with a new button soldered in.That isn't really a fault but it has a really bright LED which I might remove. It isn't really needed for me, I hit the button and see if the mouse moves on the PC I'm using, that easy. Another thing, and this is ALL these switches, is it uses the old USB-A connector. Why not use a micro connector(what Android phones used before USB-C)? I know C would be a little expensive to use but micro is really really common. I had to buy a few 6' USB A cables as the ones I had were from old printers and weren't long enough.Anyway, it is really nice to be able to control two PCs at once. I stream and have one for recording and one for games. I just disabled any sounds of the mouse/keyboard getting disconnected and now I can control both from one set of mouse/keyboard.

(Premature review) Nice sturdy metal case, no USB Type A to B coming together
I have 2 PCs and sometimes I connect to Samsung Dex Station and Chromebox. So I find USB switches very useful.I already have an IOGear USB switch. It is very light and has a wired remote button. The problem I had with my IOGear is the button response. It is pressed and doesn't come up by itself sometimes. Then I have to press it couple of more times more and it's hard to know what state the switch is in.This Rytaki USB switch is sturdy metal case and heavy. The button response seems very good. But I couldn't test it at all because it doesn't come with USB Type A to B cable. Most people have many USB cables but I don't think they have Type A to B cables at home. My IOGear switch doesn't need them because the wires are already attached to the box, and you can just plug them to each PC.Since Rytaki has its button on its body it should be on the desk close enough to me, so I can press the button handy. That means USB Type A to B cable should be long enough and that would make the desk untidy. If I have a printer I would also need to plug USB to this box which is facing towards me. The wire isn't tidy on the desk either. Even keyboard and mouse wires won't be tidy. So I have to put this box somewhere far from my hand, and that means I have to move or bend to press the button. That means it's not great for people who often switches USB. For comparison, I can put IOGear USB switch box back behind my monitor and pull the wired button close to me.There are upsides, though. The metal box is sturdy and it feels secure. The product looks quite well-made and the button feels very durable. I really feel like testing this device. If I order 2 USB Type A to B cables on Amazon that's about 10$ plus tax. This switch is about 19.99 when I write the review. The actual price with 2 USB cables would be like 29.99. If I need longer wires, they will cost you more. That's also what you need to keep in mind.* The seller generously offered this device for testing and reviewing. Thank you very much and sorry for not the best review. I will test it when I get 2 USB cables and edit this review accordingly.

A real space saver
I've been wanting a device like this for years especially with having multiple devices/computers that require keyboards and mice. Right now I have 2 computers at my desk which required 2 keyboards and 2 mice. In the past to clean this up I would have needed a large mechanical switch to change input devices between computers. Now using USB type B cables I can connect both computers up to this electrical switch, a single keyboard and mouse along with 2 other input devices and simply press the button to change access to systems. I really wish this would have came with 2 type B cables for connecting to my computers otherwise I just used a few spares I had in my cable collection. I haven't done extensive testing yet as I'm waiting on hi-speed type b cables to arrive to see if this will work on a gaming system.
