I need to use for travelling where it will be quite rainy so I needed the nylon material. Love all the pockets and organization. It’s a good size for basics: phone, thin card wallet, lipstick , keys, hand cream and pen. I took a star off because the strap is quite thin. When you pack the bag and as it gets heavier, the thin strap starts to dig I to your shoulders. So as long as you keep the bag light, it won’t dig in too much. A wider strap would have been better. Otherwise, it’s quite lightweight. And the blue is a nice deep blue purple hue. I looked for a long time, on and off for weeks, in fact. Too big, too small, too heavy. This one is perfect. I couldn't believe my luck. So far, I've only used it once but that was for a 9 hour day in the city, 5 hours out on the streets (hence the cross body), and it was comfortable and did the job admirably. Much better than my usual back pack for work, though a city backpack would also be good if you were okay with actually carrying it on your back. That can be inconvenient depending on what you are doing. I am not big on purses, but this is one I really love. It is big enough to carry everything I like to have with me and still fits in my computer bag when I need to carry it as well. The hardware so far is sturdy, the fabric is smooth and dyed well. I purchased black and it is a true black. Even though it is lightweight, it holds its shape while still being flexible in the right places. The strap is perfect for carrying on the shoulder or extending to use as a crossbody. The hardware that the strap connects to is conveniently placed in the center between the two larger zippered section to provide better balance when carrying (I hate when the strap is secured to the front or back and the purse falls forward/back when filled). Attention was paid to the small details and it fits exactly what I need to carry on a day-to-day basis. I ended up coloring a patch I had with gold fabric marker to match the gold-tone hardware and used my flat iron to secure it to the front of this purse to personalize it to my taste (400 degrees F-some nylons have melting point of 420 degrees F) and it worked perfectly.
