I put it together that same day and was chargined to discover it was missing one of the two cotter pins, but I figured I could take the other one to the hardware store and get a replacement pretty easily. But then I realized the axle had a hole for the cotter pin on one side but not on the other, which is necessary as there are two wheels. I considered trying to drill the extra hole, but decided I didn't have a vise set up yet as we recently moved, and instead called Marathon about the problem. They were very nice and said they'd send a replacement axle and cotter pin immediately. (I later found the cotter pin in the bubble wrap -- oops -- my fault). The axle came after the weekend but within two working days as they used 2 day Fedex. The new axle was perfect and I finished it and it looks and works perfectly. There is some concern by others that it may lose some color, and that the wheels may be expensive to replace if they fail as they contain air. However, our wheels work great and have no defects, and we like them better than solid ones as they have more give when going over rough terrain.My wife and I are sharing this wheel barrow but it is more hers than mine as she is the gardener. She insisted that I find one that had two wheels for stability and a pull handle. This Marathon red lady bug one was the cheapest one that I could find that had mostly good ratings. The pink version was actually a bit cheaper but I decided I would rather be seen by neighbors using a red one (with lady bug eyes) than a pink one. My wife is extremely happy with it and it works perfectly for her. We have already used it for pavers, bricks, outside tile, and tons of plants for landscaping, as we are relatively new to this house and are sprucing the outdoors up. We also used it for sod and I moved 6 rolls in this unit as well as my older 8 cubic foot traditional wheelbarrow to test how it did and it was easier to use the lady bug one then it was with the bigger steel one. The difference was much more stability in lifting and setting down, and also easier to start and stop its moving. I was quite surprised, but also pleased. From now on, unless I've got a very heavy item, or my neighbors are watching, I will be using the lady bug. It may require an extra trip or two if you're moving lots of stuff, but each trip will be so much easier that it will be well worth the small amount of extra time it will take. One other nice touch is the black flex rubber on the handle's back part that cushions your hands when gripping it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars LadyBug Yard Rover *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2013* Although the Ladybug was easy to assemble, I found it somewhat flimsy after putting it together. I believe the barrow will crack easily if left out in the weather too much or put in much of a weight strain. (That was my first impression of the Ladybug after assembly. I hope I will be proven wrong with long term use.) I have used the Ladybug twice since I received it recently, so only time will tell how much service I will get overall. I like the lightweight of the Ladybug as I am not a strong person and need the lighter weight for lawn and garden use. I also like the looks of the Ladybug. Its a thumbs up there, I am so glad someone finally thought about ladies who can' t push around heavy wheelbarrows.Lastly, the weight limit for the wheelbarrow is 300 pound but the wheels weight limit is only 200 pound..Did someone goof or was that intentional? . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little home garden cart. *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2015* Just a few tips on this cart. It arrived today. Just what I expected. I wanted to address a few of the complaints I read in the reviews.First. This is a light to middle duty home gardeners cart. It's not a heavy metal tray wheel barrow. It is great for hauling brush or seed. If you want to fill it with gravel, stone or dense soil, it will probably stand the strain but it's iffy.Lots of people complained about the tires. When it arrived I noticed that the valve stems were crooked indicating the tube is not aligned. This is a sure way to get a flat tire and a ruined tube. First thing I did after unpacking is let all the air out. Loosen the bead. Straighten the tube and reinflate to about #20. There was about #12 to begin with. The tire is rated up to #25. Hopefully this takes care of the tire issue.Next, many people talked about the bolts not aligning during assembly. The instructions were explicit about not tightening anything until it is completely assembled. With the bolts not tight, my cart went together easily. All the bolts lined up with out any persuasion whatsoever. Then and only then we're they tightened. Took about 25 minutes for complete assembly.I think with a little care, this card should do fine. Just remember, it is what it is.
