I ordered this ProCar seat with Christmas cash because frankly the price looked good to me and I'm cheap - just finished installing it and it bolted right up to the cockpit kit's universal (I believe they are NRG) sliders without any fuss, its side bolsters are much lower than most aggressive racing seats and is great for keyboarding and normal work/gaming use, the cushions are fairly firm but obviously plush enough to offer more comfort than I'd typically expect of a racing seat at this price point. Provided this seat holds up well for me in the next few months and doesn't exhibit any quality issues in short term (doubtful, it looks well-made), I will be purchasing 2x of these seats to install into a C5 Corvette I'm restoring - its a fixer upper with over 200k miles, and these seats will both fit my budget and the interior's complete lack of color scheme - e.g. all black lol Review: Comfortable but a bit flimsy - I purchased this for a sim racing setup as shown in the picture. I looked at dozens of seats and many reviews before landing on this one. Many of the seats I've seen had complaints about the bolsters being too narrow. I have wide shoulders, so I knew that wouldn't work for me. The seat arrived in one box with the back already attached to the bottom. This simplified the setup to the point where all I needed to do was bolt on the included seat tracks, then bolt it to the sim rig. This went smoothly with no major hiccups. This seat is fairly comfortable. It has some lumbar support, the back height is perfect for me at 6' tall and there is ample cushioning. The side bolsters all are fairly wide and more than ample for me weighing 190lbs. The upper bolsters by my shoulders are a little tight, but still acceptable. The materials are nice and feel durable. The only negative for this seat is there is a good amount of flex in the back of the seat. I would not recommend using this in an actual car as I doubt the back would survive the impact of a crash. In a sim setup, it is slightly noticeable, but not a huge deal. For the price, this is a good deal for a sim racing setup.
