The claw is somewhat flexible, but does not have a movable joint. My son wishes he could fold the legs and arms in like the show, but that doesn't stop him from playing with it. My only complaint would be that there is no easy way to drain the water. We shake it out good and let it dry overnight - so far we've had no issues with mold. He loves to watch the episodes and play with the characters and the GUPs as they appear in each episode. Highly recommend this or any of the other Octonaut GUPs for your little Octonaut fan. They are good quality toys, keep my kids entertained even when the show is not on, and allow them to play out scenes and use their imaginations.
