This provides ample light for working on all my projects. You can adjust the color and brightness with the remote control and it will remember the settings you choose so when I use the light switch on the wall to turn it on and off it's always set to how I like it (I keep it at full brightness and a neutral white color - around 3500k). It is very lightweight and we had no trouble with installation, though it did take awhile for us to set the strings to have the lights tilted just how we wanted them. I manage to hit the lights pretty frequently when I'm whipping out large pieces of fabric (like for curtains) or climbing over the table and they have taken no damage and hold up great and go right back to their original positions.Overall, I am so pleased with this light! Super customizable in pretty much all regards - height, tilt, light color, brightness level.
