Best way to start getting into German brand watches. The seconds hand registration is almost perfect with little to no bounce between ticks. Dial quality is oustanding and the numerals and hands are lumed. The strap is quality and suits the watch but I am switching it out for a brown alligator strap. Has a nice weight to it unlike other cheap quartz. The crystal is hesalite so have some Polywatch on hand for little scuffs and scratches. What more is there to say. At 119.00 there is no better value to be had when starting in German watches. Amazon is wrong in the sizing. It is 40mm wide and 20mm lug width. Having said that, the case and the plastic crystal they use is something you would expect to find in a sub $50 watch, not a $200+time piece.For this Hindenburg model LZ129, the plastic dome crystal is elevated above the case and the sides of the crystal is not protected at all. Common sense would say that they would use a higher quality Sapphire Crystal. I am a victim of the their cheap plastic crystal and the crystal on my Zeppelin watched is cracked on the side. If you buy one, it will eventually crack no matter how careful you are with it. You have been warned.
