You can use this shaver in the shower if you wish . I use both 5 blade razors like Harry's and electric shavers to make sure I do not cut my moles but get those small hairs under my chin. So far it works great and the charging system works fine. The motor is strong and permits about 30 shaves before it needs to be re-charged. One minor issue is that the rotor blades are not as fine a cut as the models similar to this one, however at a cost of 24 US dollars for the total shaver its about half the cost of just replacement rotor blades for my old model shaver so it is value for the dollar.
