They are stretchy and warm. They could also fit him for a while. The price was great for getting 3. We went from having nothing to finally being able to protect my little one's hands in the cold temps. I don't have time to try to get fingered mittens on, esp when my little guy will just yank them off. These will stay on, are warm, and still allow for my son to grip things. He also doesn't scream at me when I put them on. A great find!
