However, this one is also rather shallow from top of hat to edge of brim (if that makes sense -- it's fairly short, height-wise). I really like the look of the hat, and it's decently warm, but the design down't work well when you're trying to keep the earflaps snapped up. When they're down, it fits fine, though, and I bought it more for warmth than looks to begin with, so it's not a huge deal.(Go to Outdoor Research's website for their hat size chart.
