They work nicely. A metal FaceBolt increased the weight of Horogium Basalt and makes it nearly unstoppable. I tried a metal tip on it as well and while I clicked its spin time at a full 2 minutes longer, it made Basalt spin wildly, which I didn't care for. It does more harm than good in a Takara Tomy stadium.Still, the metal tips and face bolts work perfectly.

I bought these for my 6yo son who's crazy about Beyblades. Beyblades, for those new to these, are modular tops with metal outer rings that retain inertia for long spin times. A lot of enjoyment comes from their modularity in that kids can mix pieces from differing Beyblades to create new designs. My son, being an amateur engineer that can't leave anything alone without modifying them, loves mixing and matching his Beyblades. Included in this kit are some plastic tips (red) and some metal tips (silver) and some replacement bolts (hexagon shaped pieces) that hold the Beyblades together. This kit is designed to replace lost parts or to replace parts for improved performance. I did not notice any appreciable performance improvement. He used a few of the hexagon bolts, but some were too short to be used. Many metal tips did not fit well also. He did not find any use for the plastic tips. I would not buy again.

My grandson was absolutely thrilled to get this. Being the Beyblade expert, he said this was an awesome product.

My son is spoiled rotten, he is an only child so I play beyblade Arena with him quite often, I'm 50 and he's 6 so lets just say, we own every bey there is... I'm pretty scientific so here are my candid observations: The pieces don't have real high tolerances so not all of them are weighted properly and the threading is rough in spots so some just won't attach. When they are at maximum revolution the centrifugal force makes them wobble so stamina is hindered, the bolts are short so they don't fit all beyblades... For the few that are within acceptable parameters make the beys a lot more powerful.

Unfortunately, perhaps due to lazy manufacturing, the bolts do not exactly align with your cores, once tightened. Out of 8 bolts, maybe one of them was straight. Also the bolts are no longer then standard plastic bolts and may not fit some of the metal cores. Also the tips where great, except several of them still had their metal die cast bits on them and needed to be filed off prior to use. Good luck.

These are poorly finished cast metal pieces. Several tips had sharp bits of metal that ended up wearing down the plastic parts they were mated with. The face pieces were often too short and could not be used at all.
