With the level of power this drill offers, even at this lowest trigger position the drill won't stall without a large amount of load. If you need delicate low-speed operation such as fastener driving, look for a smaller drill (perhaps a 3/8" VSR?). If you need a drill that will work continuously poking 3/8" to 13/16" holes in up to 3/8" thick steel as I did, this is your drill. **Q: Has anyone found a good case for this drill?** A: I just use a generic tool bag for the drill. **Q: Any masonary bit included ?** A: I purchased the drill only, so I do not have a hands on answer regarding the drill bits. Do not get me wrong it is good size but it starts from 0 rpm to 1200 rpm depending on how far you pull the trigger. I'm on my second day of drilling with it so about 10 hours of usage and I love it. I'm glad that I bought it no regrets. Even if I only use it a few times. This thing has enough power to break your wrist! I have been drilling stainless steel 1" thick and the drill had no problem. The ability to maintain a slow speed was key in drilling stainless steal. I did read the review that said that the drill started at half speed. This however was not the case with my drill, maybe they corrected this problem? I look forward to using the drill again although maybe not on 1" stainless steel as it is very hard substance to go through requiring a lot of pressure.
