I didn't realize it was branded for men at the time (in fact, It took me 2 bottles to figure it out, but that's another story). I have always struggled with facewash either leaving my skin oily and grimy or drying the crap out of areas. This was the first one that I found that seemed to strike the right balance for my touchy skin (I've had rosacea as well and it has helped calm that down for me too). Also, I don't have to use much to get the job done so a bottle lasts about a full year. Overall a great product for me.
