I may have written a review shortly after receiving this blender in Nov 2018...... well, things have changed! I have had such a difficult time assembling the part of the glass pitcher that connects to the motor base.Another problem....on top of the motor base is a “spinner “.... well that broke as well!I can no longer use this blender!I would NOT recommend it.Better off purchasing one at shop near by rather than online. That way one can actually check it out completely for cheap-o parts and make a better informed purchase.The hassle now: a broken blender and what to do with it. I will not dump it in the trash as it will just be laying in a landfill forever! 😡

I am having a problem - very frustrated because the bottom leaks.The first time I used it...out of the box...it was fine. I could not even remove the blades and just washed it that way.Next time I used it...food processing was good....but I decided to remove blades.Then the LEAKING began. There is a silicone gasket....and that seems to be the problem.I use it to pulverize veggies and chicken for a dog...and it was all over the bottom...leaking out.I cleaned up...tried again...tightening bottom. Still leaked.It appears at best...you have to make sure it is 100% dry when you scew on the bottom and blades.But still seems to leak a little. This is not acceptable.I will try one more time today - and if it is still leaking will return it.It is a pity because the blending action is good...I am happy with that. And the unit is nicely made.But it should not leak.

I really like this blender, the smoothies are super smooth after. love it so far but can’t comment on reliability. Crushes ice very well. Moderate noise. Glass jar is way better than plastic.Some comments regarding feedback concerns:Ensure you lock the jar in place otherwise will not turn on (no matter how many times you plug and unplug it)If you are getting liquid from the bottom then you have not assembled it correctly after cleaning. It did it to me but it was my own fault for not reading the instructions a little closer!Update review:Blender gear on the jar bottom has come completely apart. Cheap plastic, not fixable so I am returning.Also, couldn’t get ahold of the seller after purchasing only 3 months ago.I will update after using it for a few months.

I used this item approximately 6 days a week for 3 months and it is now leaking. No big deal right? Just replace the gasket. Sadly I can't find any product information on Amazon or on the Web. I never heard of this brand but figured it was no big deal. I will contact the manufacturer, but would recommend you go with a name brand. Nothing should only last three months. I try hard to avoid having things go into the landfills. I regret not paying more and getting something that lasts. Also the glass is really heavy.

This started out great, worked really well and had no trouble cutting through fruit, ice, veg, etc.Unfortunately, when my wife was using it last week the rotary piece at the bottom of the jug (connecting the motor to the blades) disintegrated and the entire machine is now useless. Not great, considering we only started using this when we moved into our new house at the beginning of January. 6 weeks of life for a machine that cost US$60 doesn't strike me as very good economics...There is no warranty information in the various leaftlets provided in the box and so I am hoping that someone from the Decen customer service team will now get in touch to resolve this ASAP as I would like a refund or at the very least a replacement.

This is a poorly designed product. I only used the blender for a daily smoothie and in a very short time the threads of the blade shaft sheered off. Reluctantly I was talked into a replacement unit. In a short the entire plastic drive twisted right off the undersized drive shaft. Supposedly there was a two year warranty on the unit. Good luck contacting the manufacturer. At least Amazon gave me a partial refund.

Had a couple of single serve blenders, what a waste of money, neither did well with ice, nor did my 700w blender. I took a chance on this one because of it's price. I am very impressed, handled ice like a champ. I also like that it's glass. Doesn't have a huge footprint. my wife and I love it. very nice blender for the money. edit: had an issue and costumer service was great...

This blender is extremely powerful. It has a separate ice button to crush or chip ice quickly for smoothies. It works very fast and is efficient. I was very pleased with it
